On October 19th the Diamondbacks beat the Phillies 2-1. The pitchers were Ranger Suárez and Brandon Pfaadt. Bryce Harper was on third base when Ryan Thompson threw a wild pitch and Bryce Harper sprinted home and scored. Alek Thomas was on 1st base when Lourdes Gurriel JR hit an RBI (run batted in) double and the speedy Alek Thomas scored from first to make it 1-1. It was the bottom of the 9th inning Pavin Smith was on 3rd base and Ketel Marte was up he hit the ball in to the left field line Pavin Smith scored from third. The Diamondbacks won the game 2-1! With the win the Diamondbacks made the series 2-1 Phillies lead but they play the 20th. So we'll see if they can make it 2-2.
