On Thursday the Baltimore Orioles signed 9x all star CP Craig Kimbrel to a one year $13 million contract with club options for 2025.
They signed him off free agency. Last year with the Phillies he posted a 3.26 ERA, 94 strikeouts and a 1.04 WHIP. The Orioles are looking for more relievers because of their week bullpen. Adding Kimbel will add depth to their bullpen with Bautista probably still their closer.
With a offense like they have with Henderson and Rutschman leading the offense they will be even better with Kimbel.
It will be hard to beat their 2023 record going 101-61, but adding Kimbel might help them get past the ALCS in 2024.
