Why Mariners Ownership has Failed

SEATTLE-The Mariners ownership is uncertain if the money is going to come in, so the logical reaction is to cut the Budget. However if they put a substandard team together people will leave and therefore they lose more money. They will leave, meaning that people will come to less games and maybe cancel their TV subscription to Root Sports. Recently they've traded away 3B Eugenio Suárez for two prospects. Which was frustrating. And on Sunday they Traded away OF Jarred Kelenic, LHP Marco Gonzales, and 1B Evan White to the Braves for two minor league pitchers that the Mariners don't need because they have one of the best pitching staffs in the league. And that's when it became super frustrating.

And Scott as spoken, the players have spoken and some of the ownership has listened like John Stanton but we need them to make a move. With the trades some people are thinking maybe they're trying to save money for big players like Ohtani. But Ohtani can't play left field, or third base and he isn't even going to pitch in 2023.

So maybe you go after guys like Chapman, or Candelario to play third and fill that hole. And sign guys like Michael A. Taylor to fill the hole in the outfield and have Canzone play right.

I don't know what they're going to do but they have to do something soon because the offseason is going by really fast and before they know it catchers and pitchers are going to meet in Peoria.
