Kraken 2023-24 Season Preview















It’s September 14 so it’s time for the 2023-24 Seattle Kraken Season preview. The Kraken have Had a lot of highs and a lot of lows. So, let’s get started. The Seattle Kraken the youngest team in the NHL who in 2021 became the 32nd team. They were bad that year. Very bad ending the year with a 24-49-6 record. But in the 2022-23 season they turned it around ending the season with an 46-28-8 record! And made the playoffs for the first time in just their second year having rookie of the year Matty Beniers. In the first round they played the defending Stanley Cup Champions, the Colorado Avalanche. The Avalanche made it close, but the Kraken pulled it off. The Kraken are expected to do good this year and maybe make a run for the Stanley Cup. The Kraken lost two good players in Ryan Donato and Daniel Sprong. But added center Devin Shore. The Kraken will play the Calgary Flames for their first preseason game in Calgary. They will play the Vegas Golden Knights for their first regular season game in Vegas. Their home opener is October 17th against the Colorado Avalanche. The Kraken will also be hosting the winter classic in T-Mobile Park on January1st against the Knights.
